As we continue to enhance our technological capabilities, we are seeking a talented Development Team Lead to oversee critical system development and implementation projects.

Role Overview:

The Development Team Lead will play a key role in managing a development team and guiding development projects across various areas, including but not limited to local clearing, FPS, customer service support, data warehousing, and reporting. This position requires strong leadership skills, a focus on timely delivery, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Project Oversight: Lead and oversee system development and implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to timelines.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 6 developers and engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and communicate project status effectively.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical direction and support throughout the development lifecycle, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with development projects, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the development of reporting tools and dashboards to provide insights into project progress and performance metrics.

Ideal Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, especially in areas such as local clearing, payments, and customer service systems.
  • Proficiency in ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server programming languages and development frameworks
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects using Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships across teams.
