Job description
We have a current opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Manager on a permanent basis. The position will manage IT vendors to deliver IT Infrastructure projects and support. This role requires you to be fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. For further information about this position please apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and high performance.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring that contracts are fulfilled and service levels are met. Negotiate contracts and monitor performance against agreed-upon KPIs.
- Coordinate with outsourced resources and teams to ensure seamless integration and support of IT operations.
- Ensure that all infrastructure components comply with industry regulations and company policies regarding security and data protection.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal operation and plan for future growth.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on managing outsourced teams and vendor relationships.
- Experience in the insurance industry or finance industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects, utilizing project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving objectives.
- Strong communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
